Charlotte "Char" Helen Bacon
February 22, 2006 ~ December 14, 2012

Charlotte's bell is E7. When E7 rings, we remember an extraordinarily gifted six year old who filled her family each day with joy and love. The family will forever remember her beautiful smile, her energy for life, and the unique way she expressed her individuality, usually with the color pink.

Charlotte was bright, exuberant, and endlessly joyful. She was adorable and precocious, and her family states that "To love Charlotte is a blessing". She left a lasting impression on everyone. She could win people over with one little grin.

Charlotte, according to her family, had "many loves". She loved having her curly auburn locks tied in pigtails (or as she called them, "piggies"), especially with her favorite ribbons. She loved taekwando lessons with her brother, picking flowers, shrimp and Big Y chicken, and her Sandy Hook Elementary schoolmates.

Charlotte loved animals, especially dogs. She had a collections of stuffed dogs, adored her family's yellow lab, and aspired to be a veterinarian, or as she put it, a "doggy doctor". This revealed her loving and caring nature, which she freely gave to the world.

Charlotte, often called "Char" by her family, was an adorable, lively little girl who made her world a better place. Her infectious giggle could light up the room. She easily made others laugh with her wittiness and her hilarious antics.

Charlotte was her big brother Guy's sidekick. She was in a perpetual state of movement, always running, skipping, and jumping. Her streak of mischief and natural curiosity led to mishaps that still leave her family in stitches.

Charlotte was funny, messy, energetic, and enthusiastic. Her family likes to describe her as "bold", which is the trait they emulate to honor Charlotte.

Charlotte will never be forgotten. A bell for Charlotte will always ring at Christmas.
