Grace "Gracie" Audrey McDonnell
November 4, 2005 ~ December 14, 2012

Grace's bell is E5. When E5 rings, we remember a beautiful and artistic soul. Grace was truly a gift from God and represented all that is good in this world. She was passionate about painting, and she loved the beach. Grace's dream was to become a painter and live on Martha's Vineyard.

Grace had a contagious energy, a charisma that made her the heart of her family. Her smile, radiant and warm, had the power to light up rooms, to soften hearts, and to create an aura of joy and love. The world, to Grace, was a stage, and she was a 'girly-girl', often seen playing dress-up with her grandmother's jewelry and favoring the color pink. Her love for fashion and music was vibrant, with Taylor Swift and Kenny Chesney among her favorites.

Grace was a child who lived in a world painted by her own imagination and dreams. She was a passionate artist, a spirit so intertwined with art that it seemed as though her heartbeat synchronized with the rhythm of her paintbrush. She possessed a profound love for painting, and this love translated into beautiful masterpieces that she would create with boundless enthusiasm and unadulterated joy. Each stroke, each mix of color was a testament to her creativity and the vast world that lived inside her mind.

The ocean was Grace's other love. Her heart danced to the rhythm of the ocean waves, her spirit thrilled by tales of adventure and freedom whispered by the seaside wind. She had an affection for seagulls and lighthouses, symbols of hope, guidance, and resilience that captivated her youthful imagination. Martha's Vineyard, with its endless vistas and serene beauty, held a special place in her heart. It was more than just a summer destination to her; it was a dream, a place where she hoped to live one day, a canvas where her future as a painter would come alive, nourished by the sun and the ocean breeze.

Grace will never be forgotten. A bell for Grace will always ring at Christmas.
