Playground Celebrating the Life of Allison Noelle Wyatt

The Allison Wyatt playground
opened on November 10th, 2013. It is located on North Water Street in Oyster Shell Park in Norwalk, Connecticut. The Norwalk playground is the thirteenth playground created for the Where Angels Play Foundation and is dedicated to Allison Wyatt, a victim of the Sandy Hook Elementary School Shooting. Allison and her family have ties to Norwalk: Allison was born in Norwalk and her mother, Cheyanne, is a nurse at Norwalk Hospital.

The inspiration for this playground came from Allison’s favorite snack, Goldfish crackers.
Allison was known to always share her goldfish so her playground is decorated with goldfish imagery and even received support from Pepperidge Farms, the owner of Goldfish Crackers. Red was Allison's favorite color so it is the featured color on her playground.
