Playground Celebrating the Life of Victoria Leigh Soto

The Victoria Soto playground
opened on June 22nd, 2013 in Stratford, Connecticut – Victoria’s hometown. Located in Longbrook Park, Victoria's playground is the fifth playground created for the Where Angels Play Foundation. Victoria, a 27-year-old first grade teacher, died a hero protecting her students at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

Victoria's playground
is decorated with pink and green playground equipment that signifies her love for flamingos. It features a plaque with photos and descriptions of her life, and Christmas trees are planted along the playground in honor of Victoria’s favorite holiday.
