Autism Speaks
Anne was a special education aide working with Dylan Hockley, a first-grader with autism, when a gunman burst into the school on December 14, 2012. She shielded 6-year-old Dylan, who she had worked with since the start of the school year, and other students, according to school officials.
Anne's obituary requested that "In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Autism Speaks, 1060 State Rd., 2nd Floor, Princeton, NJ 08540".
