WWDD: What Would Daniel Do? In Memory of Daniel Barden, Sandy Hook Elem.
Daniel Barden's family created the "What Would Daniel Do" campaign to honor his legacy of kindness.
"Our family endorsed page honors Daniel’s memory with the goal of inspiring others. Please join our WWDD Family, share & take its message to heart."
Daniel Barden Mudfest
When you choose to Donate to the Daniel Barden Mudfest Charity, you’re creating opportunities for teenagers from both central New York and Connecticut to experience an unplugged adventure all while learning to give back to their community and world. 100 percent of the profits from Mudfest, including donations we receive, go to the Barden Adventure Scholarship program, as well as the charities chosen by the recipients of our scholarships.
They help young people find their unique ability to make a difference in the world; to be beacons of hope and change; to stand tall and shine bright.
Sandy Hook Promise
Daniel's father, Mark Barden, is one of the founders of Sandy Hook Promise. Research has proven that Sandy Hook Promise’s Know the Signs programs effectively teach youth and adults how to prevent school violence, shootings, and other harmful acts. Students and educators learn how to identify at-risk behaviors and intervene to get help. These early-prevention measures empower everyone to help keep schools and communities safe.
